Limited Competitive Levels These leagues more closely follow the standard rules of basketball. Each league has rules that are unique to our program and some rules unique to the players’ grade level. The underlying principle is to give players a league environment where game scores and league standings are kept and year end playoffs are offered. The basic league concept is to continue to work to teach fundamental basketball skills, understanding of basketball rules, and concepts of teamwork and sportsmanship at all levels. Generally, each team will have a team practice and game most weeks. The initial practice sessions will be held in a “clinic style format” with concentration on basic basketball fundamentals. These practice sessions will be held on Sunday October 18th
Grade 6 & 7 Girls · Games on Saturday mornings/early afternoons at Liverpool Middle School gym. After teams are formed practice day and time will be determined based on availability. · $ 97.00 per player · Player preview: All players (including coach’s daughters) MUST attend Sunday, October 25th at Morgan Road Elementary Gym. A-L report at 4:30 PM, M-Z report at 5:00 PM · Team Selection: COACHES ONLY Tuesday, October 27th at 6:30 PM. at Morgan Road Elem cafeteria. · Practice begins Saturday October 31st Please note: Registration is limited and will be done on first come, first served basis. The league will be limited to the first 88 players who sign up. There will be NO exceptions. |
